Yazzie travels the region creating unique artwork and visiting
festivals. Using a local cottonwood root and small hand tools, Dan
crafts many Native items ranging from totems and masks to people
and scenery with traditional Navajo flair. Using the art form he
learned from his brother and older relatives, Dan has created
beautiful art for more than 15 years.
