Sacred Inspiration
Navajo Folk Art Sculptures & Tribal Carvings

As a full-blooded Navajo Indian, Dan Yazzie never studied art or received formal training because art has always come naturally to him. As one who's taken the hard road to learn everything he knows, he puts his passion into each piece of work to create memorable pieces. Dan has won numerous awards across the United States for his one-of-a-kind pieces. You may have seen his work in magazines and even a demonstration on PBS™. Dan's colloquia (#415 copyright 2000 Northern Arizona University) entitled "Dine Carvings in Transition" are videos addressing his artwork, biography, and awards. Dan is willing to do pieces like this again for other Universities and Art Schools—contact him for more information.
